It has, within the past few months, come to my attention a new trend. Emo kids – with canes.

Now, I can almost tolerate the emo style. I’m not really sure how you squeeze anything with testacles into pants designed for people…lacking such parts, but whatever. But now, they’re walking around with top hats and plastic canes. Apparently the emo kids out-emotioned the dandy kids and absorbed them.

Now, let’s take a step back and consider this. Rich kids with rampant, unchecked emotions wearing fancy clothes…where have I seen this before? Sweet Vishnu battling Shiva, the Romantics and the Victorians have joined forces! We are in for a wave of emotions and lace.
